The Ishaq family included and still includes many notable persons, who played a great role in developing there communities.

- Banayot Ishaq
- George Basil Ishaq (1939-1998). School teacher at the omarieh school in Jerusalem, in the village of Battir and Beit Sahour boys school. He was a teacher for maths and sciences. Founding member of the Arab Orthodox Club in Beit Sahour and its Scouts group. Leader in the Scouts group. Founding member of the Beit Sahour Housing Cooperation.
- Issa Ishaq
- Jad Elias Isaac, Phd. (1947). Dean of Science at Bethlehem University. Director of the Applied Research Institute - Jerusalem (ARIJ).
- Jadallah Yacoub Ishaq (1876-1945). See article in beit-sahour.info.
- Khalil Basil Ishaq (1941-2006). School teacher. Founding member of the Arab Orthodox Club in Beit Sahour. Founding member and first director of the Beit Sahour Housing Cooperation. First Donner for the Palestinian First Eye Bank.
- Rahmeh Jadallah Ishaq. One of the first female school teachers in Beit Sahour.
